How to Stake your $FLX and LP Tokens

Staking will go live at December 9th at 3:00 PM UTC. The FLX emission schedule is 15m FLX over a 12 month period.

In this guide, we will show you how to participate in our early community incentive program by staking LP tokens.

Prerequisites:

  • Metamask or any supported wallet
  • Have provided liquidity for FLX-USDC pair on Uniswap v2. To provide liquidity for Uniswap v2, please follow this guide
  • Have LP tokens for the pair in their wallet

1. Visit the Staking Dashboard

Go to https://stake.flux.xyz/#/flx. This is the staking dashboard where you can manage your staked assets, monitor and claim rewards.

2. Link your Wallet

At the top right-hand corner of the staking dashboard, click on Connect Wallet, select your wallet type from the supported list and confirm the connection.

Five wallet connection types are currently supported; Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, Fortmatic, Portis and WalletConnect.

3. Navigate to Staking Interface

Once your wallet is connected, it’s time to choose the asset you want to stake. Click on the Deposit button

4. Preparing the Asset to Stake

If you have eligible LP tokens to stake, click on the Deposit button.

However, if you do not have eligible LP tokens, the Deposit button will be unavailable. To add liquidity, click on Add FLX-USDC liquidity button instead.

Clicking on this will take you to Uniswap to add liquidity. LP staking is only available for Uniswap v2 liquidity pool tokens. We do not support v3 or other DEXs at the moment.

5. Input the Amount to Stake

Select all eligible staking tokens from your wallet by clicking on Max, or enter a specific amount manually.

6. Staking the Asset

Once you’ve inputted the amount, click on Approve

Your Metamask/supported wallet should pop up asking you to pay gas to execute the operation.

The “Approve” operation authorises the staking smart contract to interact with the asset. However, this operation is only to authorise smart contract interaction. The operation does not stake your tokens.

8. Stake

Once the transaction has been confirmed, the “Approve” will now change to “Deposit”.

Click on Deposit which should prompt another Metamask/supported wallet pop-up for you to pay gas to commit the operation on-chain. This is the staking operation.

9. Congrats!

Your asset is now staked. Check your dashboard to see your status and reward in real-time!
